About me

Hi, I'm Juliana.

My path to becoming a counselor began with my own family. When my children came into my life, I knew I wanted to show up for them in ways that felt emotionally connected and intentional. That commitment led me on a journey of personal growth and eventually to the work I now do with clients.

I grew up in a family system where emotions were often unspoken, which left me with a sense of separateness. That experience made me aware of the quiet ways disconnection can linger and fueled my desire to help others discover new ways of relating to themselves and the people they care about.

Today, I specialize in working with adults navigating midlife transitions. These are seasons when the landscape shifts, roles change, losses surface, and values come into sharper focus. Many people long to shed old expectations and live with more intention. In our work together, I help clients quiet self-criticism, grow in self-compassion, and align more fully with what matters most.

My approach is grounded in curiosity, respect, and belief in the possibility of change. Healing begins with the relationship we build with ourselves, and I feel honored to walk alongside people as they discover new ways of being that feel whole, authentic, and connected.

My Approach

I believe every person holds the capacity to heal, grow, and create change—especially when they feel supported, seen, and safe. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity and compassion as you reconnect with your own inner wisdom and strength.

In our work together, therapy isn’t just about coping. It’s about transformation. We'll gently explore what has shaped you, clarify what matters most now, and help you build a life that feels meaningful and whole.

My approach integrates several trauma-informed, evidence-based methods:

Person-Centered Therapy honors your innate capacity to heal and focuses on building a strong, trusting relationship.
EMDR helps process painful memories so they no longer hold the same emotional weight.
ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) helps you align with your values and move toward what matters most.
EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) supports deeper connection with yourself and others by working with emotions as guides.
Motivational Interviewing fosters meaningful, lasting change by building on your inner motivation and strengths.
Parts Work helps you understand and integrate the different sides of yourself—protective, expressive, and everything in between.

Together, these approaches offer tools for healing old wounds, releasing self-criticism, and building relationships that feel emotionally safe and sustaining. I see myself as a guide on your path—but you're the expert in your story.

Let’s work together to help you feel more whole, more grounded, and more like yourself again.
